Complaints, Safeguarding & Integrity Policy

Stichting PHRC does not accept inappropriate behaviour within or by our organisation. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance on:

  • Sexual exploitation, harassment (SEAH) or bullying

  • Physical violence

  • Child abuse

  • Discrimination

  • Human trafficking

  • Financial misconduct

Reporting a Safeguarding Concern

Anyone—staff, consultants, participants, or partners—who has a concern about the safety or welfare of a person connected to Stichting PHRC should:

  1. Document the concern in writing, noting what was observed, by whom, and when.

  2. Submit it to the Safeguarding Lead by email as soon as possible.

  3. Not investigate independently.

Where there is reasonable cause to suspect significant harm, Stichting PHRC will refer the matter to the appropriate Dutch authorities (Veilig Thuis) or relevant local authorities.

Reporting Fraud or Integrity Violations

Staff, partners, and members of the public may report suspected financial misconduct, fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest, or other ethical violations.

  • Reports should be based on first-hand experience and submitted in writing to the Safeguarding Lead.

  • Stichting PHRC will confirm receipt and next steps within two weeks.

Confidentiality & Protection

All reports made in good faith are treated confidentially. Retaliation against anyone raising a concern will not be tolerated.
