Where Do Dreams Go?
This performance was born from a process, not a script. Through guided imagination, emotional integration exercises, and open-ended questions, children were invited to speak freely about their dreams, fears, disappointments, hopes, and unanswered questions. What they shared was reshaped together into scenes, characters, and movement, becoming a collective theatrical sketch presented at the end of the journey.
This kind of theatre work matters because it gives children a safe space to be heard, especially when words are fragile, dreams feel distant, or experiences are hard to name. Theatre allows children to transform inner worlds into shared stories, recognize the value of their feelings, and understand that even quiet voices carry meaning.
The goal of this work is to support children in expressing their emotions through imagination and play, building confidence, empathy, creativity, and hope, while holding space for their right to dream, even in moments of uncertainty.
Thanks to our team member Mohamed Khirwat for his work on this and to our team members for the amazing work everyday.
